Winter 2022 Newsletter
"God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him."
Imago Dei is an initiative of the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform (CCBR) working to mobilize Christians to defend life in the womb and to offer hope and healing to post-abortive men and women. We offer presentations, workshops, outreach opportunities, and various resources to inform and equip the Church to fulfill these responsibilities to our pre-born neighbours and wounded culture.
'Imago Dei' is a theological term meaning 'image of God'. Abortion is wrong first and foremost because it ends the life of a human being who bears the image of Almighty God. As ambassadors for the Creator of life, we have the privilege and responsibility to defend the lives of God's tiniest image-bearers, of whom nearly 300 are killed every day in Canada.
I would like to invite you to join us in answering the call to rescue the innocent from death (Proverbs 24:11), to care for orphans and widows (James 1:27), and to expose evil (Ephesians 5:11).
If you want to have conversations like this, click the button below and we will connect you with your local group for training and outreach!
"Miranda equipped our young adults' group to respond to the masked evil of abortion in Canada in a biblically-informed, persuasive, and gentle way. More than ever, Christians need to give not only their passive solidarity but their active participation in order to save the lives of children. I heartily recommend that any youth group, small group, or Sunday school book a presentation from CCBR." -Mark, Youth Pastor at Forward Baptist, Toronto

1. Did you know? Pastors attend all events free! We believe it is essential for church leaders to be equipped to respond to abortion, and we never want cost to be a barrier.
A good opportunity to take advantage of this would be to join us on the first day of the Bootcamp (Feb 22) or the Pro-Life Week of Action (Mar 14) for the training days. Let me know if you'd like to come!
2. I also have a request for you: we have posters and brochures that we'd love to mail to your church so that your congregation knows about our upcoming training and outreach opportunities. Please send me your church's address if you can help us out in this way!
3. If you'd like to know more about CCBR before inviting us to speak at your church or promoting our events, I'd love to meet with you and share more about our work.

That people in Canada and around the world would recognize the horrific and sinful nature of abortion and reject it.
That the moms, dads, grandparents, siblings, and friends who have been hurt by the ripple effect of past abortions would find hope and healing through the Gospel.
That local churches across Canada would be places of refuge for women in crisis, and places of grace and forgiveness for those who have had abortions in the past.
That the Lord would soften the hearts of those involved in performing abortions and bring them to repentance.
